Serve A Meal
One WhatsApp conversation led to another, resulting in the creation of the Serve A Meal program,
which serves fresh hot meals to the underprivileged and homeless in the Washington, DC metropolitan
area. On a regular basis, BDesh collaborates with local volunteers and community partners to feed and
offer food assistance to homeless individuals and families in need.
So far, the Serve A Meal initiative has been a huge success thanks to our partnerships with
local community partners including CommunityForward, Quba Center, Asian Halal Grocery, and
Sunshine Grocery.
