The Amphan cyclone has caused over $13 billion USD in damage making it the costliest cyclone ever recorded in the Bay of Bangal. Please donate generously to help the victims of Cyclone Amphan.
In the midst of Ramadan and preparing for Eid, a super cyclone called Amphan caused widespread damage in East India and Bangladesh in May 2020. It was the strongest tropical cyclone to strike the Ganges Delta since 2007’s Sideband the first super cyclonic storm to occur in the Bay of Bengal since 1999’s Odisha. Bangladesh could be dove into a compassionate emergency as it experiences the most delayed flooding in decades while it is as yet recouping from the impacts of Super-Cyclone Amphan.
